Ten research domains, one applied mission

Labs, faculty, research and live projects at Centurion University — the engine room behind DTIA engagements.

Artificial Intelligence

The AI group works on computer vision, natural language, forecasting and optimisation with industry sponsors, and translates research into deployable systems through DTIA.

Digital Twin

Research on binding sensor and design data into calibrated models of manufacturing lines and campus utilities, with scenario simulation on top.

BIM

The BIM lab teaches and applies Building Information Modelling — coordination, 4D/5D and as-built handover — on live campus infrastructure.

Robotics

Robotics work spans fixed automation cells, collaborative robots and autonomous mobile robots, with a focus on deployable industrial use cases.

IoT

The IoT group builds sensing and edge stacks for energy, environment, assets and access — the data layer beneath digital twins and smart campus.

Data Analytics

Applied analytics research on data platforms, semantic modelling and decision products for institutions and industry.

Smart Campus

Smart Campus brings together IoT, analytics and building systems to cut energy use and make facilities operations proactive.

Vibe Coding

The Vibe Coding practice studies and standardises AI-assisted delivery — prompting patterns, review gates, testing and pipelines — so quality holds as speed rises.

Cloud

Cloud research covers reference architectures, security baselines, cost optimisation and internal developer platforms for mid-size organisations.

Cyber Security

The security group focuses on baselines, monitoring and incident readiness that mid-size organisations can actually operate, plus workforce awareness.
